Changing Direction

Blue Media Group has always been a bit “different” than the typical design studio. As some of you may know (or not know...) ; when we first started we we’re creating flash websites, magazine ads, and trade-show banners. After some fine tuning, we decided to focus on the design and development of websites. Being small has its advantages. It allows us to change our focus and direction quickly.

Well, we’ve reached a point where we’ll be doing some more fine tuning. When we recently changed the name of the company to Blue Media Group, it was not just because the domain name was available. We wanted a name to act as an umbrella for all of our ideas for new web applications, products, and anything else that doesn’t fall under regular client work.

We have plans to first extend the Blue Media Group brand with at least two new services. The first will be solely for church’s and ministries, and the second for small businesses. Secondly, we have a number of web applications we’re considering releasing to the public. Some we use internally, some are just proof of concepts, while others are still in the beginning stages of planning.

So that’s the latest for now, we’ll have more details a bit later. Thank you all for your support over the years; this is the beginning of a new era.
