As you can see, early this morning we took the covers off the new bluemediagroup.com. In this next week we’ll take a behind the scenes look at the development process, the switch from expression engine to drupal, and how blueprint css tied things all together.

That being said, I’ll be the first to admit that our previous blog primarily went untouched. For that I apologize. With the new site, we plan on keeping things relatively fresh. With this company blog we’d like to accomplish three things; share, equip, and connect.

We’ve been doing this web thing for some time now, and greatly look forward to sharing our experiences with our readers. Years of tips, tricks, and lessons learned should not be kept quiet…and we don’t intend to.

Equip

Sharing information is one thing, but we also plan on providing examples, tutorials, and resources. The web is full of fantastic resources, and we’d like to share them with you.

Connect

Lastly, we would like this site to become more community focused. We want to hear your experiences, thoughts, feedbacks, and suggestions. Our previous blog wasn’t very conducive to this type of interaction, so we are greatly looking forward to this new setup.
