With the Thanksgiving season right around the corner and this year coming to a close; I want to take the time and say thank you to our clients. It’s no secret that the current economic status of the United States has been less than stellar. That being said, we’re still ending the year with record profits. We’ve been developing some exiting projects, have worked with some fantastic clients, and overall this year has been very rewarding. Blue Media Group has always been a bit “different” than the typical design studio. As some of you may know (or not know...) ; when we first started we we’re creating flash websites, magazine ads, and trade-show banners. After some fine tuning, we decided to focus on the design and development of websites. Being small has its advantages. It allows us to change our focus and direction quickly.

Though we offer hosting for our clients, we do get a number of people asking for hosting tips / suggestions. In our experience a new webhost (or your first) can either be a very enjoyable process, or an absolute disaster. After many-a-disaster, we’ve compiled a list of five tips to help you with the selection process.

There are many reasons we decided to switch our website from Expression Engine to Drupal. In fact, I begin putting together a list of points that ultimately made us move in this direction. Instead of reinventing the wheel, website development company Primal Media posted a fantastic blog post on why they love Drupal. We agree whole-heartedly.

Microsoft Mojave

Surely it’s no secret Microsoft’s new offering operating system, Vista, has gotten a bad wrap. Looks like the software giant is trying to turn around all the misconceptions and bad press they’ve been receiving. Check out Mojave.
